Music - Didgeridoos
The kids got to hand make Didgeridoos out of ABS pipe, Elmer's wood filler, wood stain and paint. The first step in the process is putting the Elmer's wood filler on the ABS pipe. Once the filler is dry wood stain is applied which gives the instruments an incredibly real wood appearance. To finish their didgeridoos the kids used their hands to paint unique designs such as traditional dot patterns or their hand prints (or whatever their imaginations came up with). They used bees wax to make a mouth piece custom fitted to them. The kids also learned some of the basics of how to create different sounds with their new instruments.
